This is to my girlfriend Rochelle Scott (I call her Ro or "Rollova" ...her stage name)...Obviously I'm adding this after the fact because earlier I could not stop crying and I was simply gonna post the following to her page but I thought it was WAYyyytoo long...
"OMG...RO!!! I JUST received the birthday gift you mailed me...OMG!!!!...I'm in TEARS!! (I will call you soon but I can hardly speak!!) YOU-are an AMAZING woman, there are NO words to EXPRESS THE JOY I feel right now!!! The gift of you taking my photoshoot from several months ago was enough and now you have created an ACTUAL magazine, with words and "passages" that I have written and posted on FB thinking I'm helping other people, has TODAY HELPED ME! I am living within one of the MOST potentially difficult times of my life...God is SO good!!! I can hardly find the words!!! You chose ALL THE RIGHT passages.. ahhhh!!! (my head hurts from crying) You even have the poem from the bookmark you made for my booksigning...are you kidding me?!! You even put in the butterfly transformation quote...you have NO IDEA. That's one of my favorites!! I feel SO PURPOSED in this moment. God had the most perfect timing on this one...THIS IS AMAZING!! I'm gonna take a pic and attach cause I want folks to know that there are people out here that are obedient to God's work and they speak to us, they love on us, as they use their God given gift!!! You know, I thought I'd be in my first magazine feature in August...well, it was postponed to October (only 2 days away!) but you MS. RO have beat the deadline with no intention to do so. YOU have put me in a MAGAZINE; AHHH...that is CRAZY!! LOL!! This is SO not just about ME (as some seem to think)...I write to empower a broken nation and to see that my first magazine helped to empower me, myself, and I. As I've said before, if that's what all of this has been for; to help revive and save my own spirit...my workd could be DONE cause I KNOW I am BLESSED!! If God gave me NO MORE FAVOR...I'm ok with that. BUT if God gives me an opportunity to help others as you have helped me...I'm ready to work cause this feeling you have given me is as I've written in HERSTORY; my heart has been hit with a defibulator...I don't just love you; I AM IN LOVE WITH YOU RO!!"
